High Point University occurs as privately-dog, church-affiliated university in High Point, North Carolina.

A school wwhen founded as High Point College within 1924 as a joint venture between the Methodist Protestant Church and the city of High Point. High Point University is the successor to Yadkin College, a Methodist Protestant institution that operated from either 1857 until 1895.

In a period of the presidency of Jacob C. Martinson, Jr., High Point College expanded its academician software online to include postgraduate studies & another campus around Winston-Salem, NC.
